The RAVE conference features:

1. Invited speaker
2. Oral presentations 
3. Poster sessions

Contributions can be submitted one in two forms:

Paper: As a full paper for a Special Issue of the journal Presence:
Teleoperators and Virtual Environments (MIT Press)
Full papers must follow the guidelines for Presence

Abstract: An abstract is no more than 2 A4 single spaced pages (min
font size 10pt), and should follow the these guidelines:
* A basic introduction to the issue at stake in the research.
* A clear statement of the problem specifically covered by the study,
and the current state of the art.
* A section beginning with "Here we show" giving the main result,
explaining what new knowledge has been generated.
* A section explaining what the main result reveals in direct
comparison to what was thought to be the case previously, or how the
main result adds to previous knowledge.
* A section putting the results into a more general context, and the
implications for further research.

Papers accepted for the Special Issue must be presented with a talk at
the conference.
Abstracts may be accepted to be presented as short talks at the
conference, or as posters.
A submitted paper for the Special Issue may instead be accepted as an
Abstract, either as a short talk or as a poster.
Full papers must follow the guidelines for Presence. Note that
PRESENCE has mandatory page charges of $40 per printed page. These will
not normally be covered by the conference organisation.  The
Conference would consider help towards payment in the event that the
Conference Oganisation has the funds to do so. This will be at the
discretion of the Conference Chair
 
There will be NO EXTENSION OF DEADLINES for submission
